Race for the Cure with Amika!

Hi Ladies! I am an 8 year breast cancer survivor and would be honored if you would join me in raising donations and walking or running (you can register for whichever you choose). I am registered for the Recreational Adult (Ages 16 yrs +)...it's a 5K non-competitive, co-ed walk! The 5K is really easy and I am not in shape! You can register here: http://www.komennctriangle.org/ and in the upper right corner, where it lists the events, click on "Register". Then click on "Join a Team". Our team name is "Team Tenacity" and the team division is a "Community Organization". After you proceed, you can pick whichever race you prefer though I would love us to all walk together if possible. :) You can also try this link to take you straight to the "Join" page. https://secure.info-komen.org/si.....eqerpbb7.app304b Once you search for the team, it will pull up my name and the team name at the bottom of the screen with a "Join" link to the right. Click on it to join the team and pick your race and set your fundraising goal! Again, I am registered for the Recreational Adult (Ages 16 yrs +); the 5K non-competitive, co-ed walk. The registration fee for this particular race is $25. You also have the option of having your RFTC T-shirt mailed to you for an additional $8. I would love for you all to join me for the 5K walk on Saturday, June 12th at Meredith College in Raleigh! Please let me know if you have any questions about joining the team, fundraising or "Sleeping in for the Cure". Thanks so much!

Bumping this information since we discussed it again at meeting last night. Also....thank you so much to those of you who have already donated to this amazing organization! I look forward to "Teaming" up with you on June 12th!
